Carol Coe

Carol Coe, Ph.D. Candidate

Carol Coe is a doctoral student in the College of Education at the University of
Washington, Seattle. Her work focuses on citizenship education, particularly discussions in high school classrooms. During her 35-year classroom career Ms. Coe taught high school social studies and language arts. As a member of the National School Reform Faculty, she has also worked with adult learners, most recently engaging in collaborative assessment of student work. She has published a dozen articles on teaching and learning and been a regular presenter at state and national education conferences.
