AIM Center Vision

Through cycles of inquiry and action anchored in a motivational framework, the AIM Center convenes students, educators and researchers as partners in the ongoing transformation of urban high schools. Initially, the center is concerned with three lines of inquiry:

• Coordinating action inquiry cycles that include curriculum design informed by home visits, collegial inquiry groups, and community voices.

• Supporting student leadership in the participation of school change.

• Collecting and analyzing data in collaboration with students, educators, and researchers to create, implement and investigate innovative instructional practices.
